Chapman University economist Esmael Adibi, Ph.D., director of the Anderson Center, will present the “2012 Annual Economic Forecast” at the Wednesday, Jan. 18, luncheon meeting of the Orange County Risk Management Association.
Dr. Adibi will discuss the state of the national and California economies and the role of monetary and fiscal policies in stimulating the national economy.
For more than a decade, Chapman University has built a reputation for the accuracy of its Annual Economic Forecast. The findings are based on a comprehensive database and econometric model developed by Chapman faculty and students.
The presentation especially targets members of management and leadership teams of organizations, so that they may develop an understanding of the economic trends that will affect their organizations, industry, and the local economy.
All are welcome and membership in the association is not necessary to attend. Cost is $85 before Jan. 10, or $95 after and at the door. The event is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Register online at
