Chapman Law offers contest to alumni aiming for solo practice

sign with text
Many new graduates of Chapman University’s School of Law opt to hang their own shingles early in their careers. To help support those independent spirits, the School of Law is offering an opportunity for some valuable help.

Chapman Law has partnered with Solo Practice University to provide 10 free one-year subscriptions for graduates from the Classes of 2011, 2010 and 2009.  Solo Practice University is an online program that helps bridge the gap from law school to solo practice. Graduates from 2009 to 2011 are eligible to apply for one of the subscriptions.

Interested applicants may apply by sending a resume and a 500-1,000-word statement answering why they want to practice independently, how the online program would be helpful and what steps they’ve already taken to pursue solo practice. Submit the materials to Suzanna Adelizi at
Adelizi@chapman.edu
 by noon Wednesday, Dec. 14.
