The new Doti’s Dogs cart in Attallah Piazza gets the presidential stamp of approval from President Jim Doti.

If you need a quick hand-warming lunch in this nippy weather, be sure to visit Attallah Piazza for the latest fare offered at the grill cart stationed there midday, Monday through Thursday.

“Doti’s Dogs” is the creation of executive chef Jim Douglas, and he added enough foodie flair to keep dog fans munching for days without ordering the same dog twice. The menu features 10 all-beef specialty dogs with something for everyone, including a buffalo dog, a Reuben dog and even a teriyaki dog. Chicken sausage is also available. Each is served on a steamed poppy seed roll and comes with a homemade garlic pickle.

“You know when you go to the Bronx and you get real pickles? These are real pickles,” Douglas said.

The specialty dogs are $3.99, and a plain “straight up” dog is $2.99.
