Reporter who broke Bell payroll scandal to speak on campus

One of the
Los Angeles Times
reporters who won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for coverage of the city of Bell payroll scandal will deliver a guest talk at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, in Argyros Forum 206B.

Ruben Vives will be the guest speaker in the “Future of Media” class, discussing “Media and Democracy” and talking about his experiences working
the story
that led to his and fellow reporter Jeff Gottlieb’s Pulitzer.
