History Channel's 'Ancient Aliens' program to feature Prof. Meyer

The Thursday, Aug. 11, episode of The History Channel program Ancient Aliens – Sacred Places will include an interview with Marvin Meyer, Ph.D., Griset Professor of Bible and Christian Studies and chair of the Department of Religious Studies, Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The program is scheduled to air at 10 p.m.

Dr. Meyer’s expertise was tapped by the program’s producers to lend insights into the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and the Qaaba in Mecca. The professor is an antiquities and Gnostic gospels expert who has appeared on ABC, BBC, CNN, PBS, A&E, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and the National Geographic Channel.
