Town & Gown gift supports books, art in Leatherby Libraries

Members of Chapman University’s Town & Gown wrapped up a recent board meeting with a festive unveiling of the group’s 2011 gift to Leatherby Libraries, which included 21 new titles for the libraries. In addition, the group’s gift also supported the purchase and installation of a Town & Gown wall logo and a cable and track system so that artwork from the university’s collections may be displayed in the alcove.

Town & Gown’s next major event is its Annual Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 12th the Bush Conference Center, Beckman Hall Room 404.  Guest speaker will be Professor Dick Doetkott. Cost is $30. For more information, please contact Melida Canfield at (714) 544-4436 or at her e-mail
