Grateful students pen their thanks

Amidst a festive atmosphere jazzed up by Chapman Radio’s own DJ Alex Klein, more than 210 students participated in Chapman University’s inaugural “Thank-A-Donor” note-writing event, held  Wednesday, April 13.

Students were invited to write thank-you notes to the university’s many generous donors who make so many programs, scholarships and events possible.

This year the handwritten letters were sent to alumni who graduated within the past 10 years and included an invitation to the university’s 150

Anniversary Celebration. Coordinating the event were Nicole Sloane ’04, manager of young alumni giving programs, and Jessica Price ’11, student assistant for the Student Philanthropy Initiative.
