Contemporary "Macbeth" this way comes

Murder, witches and warlocks. That’s right.
Macbeth
, Shakespeare’s darkest tragedy, has come to campus and is heating up the stage at Waltmar Theatre.

Directed by Thomas F. Bradac and designed by Don Guy, Chapman University’s College of Performing Arts’ production is presented in a contemporary style mixed with ancient tribal motifs.

A highlight of the run will be a 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, symposium with professors Bradac and Guy and Kent Lehnhof, Ph.D., Department of English, as well as members of the cast and design team, in a Q&A with the audience.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 23-26, with an additional 2 p.m. performance Feb. 26. Tickets are $15 to $20. Not recommended for children. For more information, visit the
