World Affairs Council to host panel on immigration policy

Dr. Tibor Machan to participate in World Affairs Council panel.

On Thursday, Feb. 10, Chapman University’s own Tibor Machan, Ph.D., professor and holder of the R.C. Hoiles Chair in Business Ethics and Free Enterprise at the Argyros School of Business and Economics, will participate in a panel discussion with former State Sen. Dick Ackerman and Mexican Consul Alejandra Garcia Williams on the topic of “U.S. Immigration Policy in the 21st Century.”

Moderating the panel will be Rick Reiff, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and Golden Mike-winning commentator. He is executive editor of the Orange County Business Journal, California’s second-largest business weekly, and author of its popular OC Insider column. He is the host and executive producer of Inside OC on KOCE-TV.

The 7 p.m. dinner event will be held at the Irvine Marriott Hotel,
