Chapman University President Jim Doti ran in the
California International Marathon
on Sunday, Dec. 5, finishing with a chip time of 3:58, once again qualifying for the
Boston Marathon
. And he did it the day before presenting the Chapman Economic forecast Monday, itself a bit of a marathon as Orange County business leaders gathered to hear a full presentation of the 33
rd
annual forecast from the A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research at Chapman University.
Since 2005, President Doti has run in the Boston Marathon several times, and in April he completed the famous “Boston 2 Big Sur Challenge.” The event dares the best runners to run the Boston Marathon and then lace up again within days for the Big Sur Marathon.
