Say cheese. There’s a new social community snapping away out there and Chapman University is part of it. So if you see students striking poses or looking for that misty early morning light cresting over Memorial Hall– ok, not
that
early, but you get the idea – they might be taking pictures to add to the university’s
DailyBooth
page in hopes of winning – drum roll – a $10 gift certificate to Jazzman’s.
DailyBooth is a new social media network that’s all about telling the story of your life in photos. Users call themselves “Boothers” and chronicle everything from the first days of school to bad hair days.
Chapman
started a page and is using it tell the story of life on campus over the course of a year. We have several photos up, so check it out. Our goal is to maintain a photo-a-day pace, ala that diligent
Noah Kalina
guy, so log on, become a follower and keep watching.
And if you’re inspired, try our “Beautiful Campus Snap” challenge, which was introduced this week to the student body in Dean Jerry Price’s weekly email announcement. Here’s the gist of it. Create an account, become a follower of Chapman University’s DailyBooth page and load up to five photos to get rolling. Include at least one that is an awesome campus photo and tag Chapman University in the caption of that photo so we know it’s your “Snap” entry. Deadline for entry is Friday, Sept. 10.
The Public Relations and Happenings staff will choose the winner and announce it here in Happenings and on DailyBooth.
