Former Orange Mayor James Beam, left, in studio with Dan Noah, production supervisor for Panther Productions.

James Beam, an Orange native, long-time businessman and former mayor, stopped by Panther Productions this week to tape a reflective presentation on city history. It’s all part of a special presentation he’ll make at a Jan. 27 meeting of the Orange Community Historical Society, so save the date if you’d like to hear his wonderful stories, among them the account of how his football coach at the old Orange High School kept his players in shape and out of trouble by finding them all fruit-picking jobs each summer.

I Heart Old Towne Orange
