Journalism students honored with press club scholarships

journalism majors won scholarships from the Orange County Press Club last week. Martin Syjuco (
Panther
managing editor ’09-’10) and Amy Ellison (
Panther
art director ’10-’11) were selected for the honors from applicants that included students from all area colleges and universities. They will receive the scholarship checks at the club’s annual gala awards dinner July 22 at The Island Hotel in Fashion Island, Newport Beach.
