Quick, someone get Pete the Panther. Maybe he can claw open the Santa Ana Zoo cage where

columnist and Chapman School of Law student Frank Mickadeit is locked up.

Oh, wait. Mickadeit volunteered for this bit of monkey business and will be sprung from his temporary habitat Thursday at 4 p.m. The non-stop action,  minute-by-minute Facebook chatter and the columnist’s blog posts are all available at the
Orange County Register
. And they say the news cycle slows down in summer.
