Aerospace engineer who spotted O-Ring trouble donates papers

The engineer who detected flaws with the O-Rings that caused the 1985 Challenger disaster donated his personal papers to the Leatherby Libraries Thursday.

In an Orange County Register story about the event, Roger M. Boisjoly recounts how his decision to speak up was met with recrimination, but that he would “do it again in a heartbeat.” Read the full story
