Chapman’s “Beyond Copenhagen” International Conference on Climate Change officially kicks off tonight with the screening of some spectacular nature footage in the Folino Theater, Marion Knott Studios, at 7 p.m. MacGillivray Freeman Films will be screening selected clips from Into the Arctic, their upcoming IMAX release which is currently in production, followed by their full-length Oscar-nominated The Living Sea. Greg Macgillivray and Tom Campion will also hold an audience Q&A after the Into the Arctic excerpts. If you have not already registered for the Beyond Copenhagen conference online, the conference itself is completely sold out – but there should be some seats left in the theater for tonight’s movie screening, since the Folino Theater capacity is larger than the conference facility. So come over and there’s a good chance you can get in!
