Team Relentless, a youth lacrosse team coached by Brian Eisenberg, Chapman Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, and Kyle Harrison, Chapman Men’s Assistant Lacrosse Coach, is one mean team – they’re undefeated this season. But the team also scores big on charity and would welcome an assist from the Chapman community.
The youth team was started by Eisenberg and Harrison with the dual purpose of playing competitive lacrosse and raising money for The Headstrong Foundation, an organization founded by the late Nicholas “Head” Colleluori, a Hofstra University lacrosse player diagnosed with non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma his sophomore year.
Team Relentless members raise money for the foundation by seeking pledges, sponsorships and donations. During the spring and summer of 2009, Team Relentless raised almost $25,000 for the Headstrong Foundation, which is dedicated to raising cancer awareness.
