Leatherby Libraries 4th Annual Book Sale is March 18-19

The crowd digs through merchandise at a past Leatherby Libraries Book Sale.

People we know look forward all year to the Leatherby Libraries’ annual Book Sale, which is coming up on Thursday and Friday, March 18-19.  And with good reason — there are tons of great books at inexpensive prices, not to mention CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs and more.

Note that the Thursday sale (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) is open to Chapman students, faculty and staff ONLY, with ID (this will be strictly enforced).  The Friday sale (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.) is open to all, and the public is cordially invited.

As in past years, this year’s book sale will be held in the first-floor rotunda of the Leatherby Libraries.  Hundreds of gently used books on a variety of subjects—from anthropology to poetry to history to biography to zoology, with lots of fiction as well —will be available for purchase at prices that are too good miss. With hardcovers and paperbacks priced at $1 each, music CDs at 4 for $1, and pocket books at 10 for $1, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to stock your personal library, find unique gifts, and support the Leatherby Libraries. From reference guides to contemporary bestsellers, this book sale will offer something for everyone. Be sure to arrive early for the best selection!
