1954: Chapman relocates to Orange County

Having outgrown its space on North Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles, Chapman moves to a new campus in Orange County, five miles from the still-unfinished Disneyland. Today, the region is a hub of biotechnology and other emerging industries, making it one of the nation’s most dynamic centers of innovation.
