Two Chapman University students have been selected to present their Arab Spring research at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies’ 2012 Student Peace Conference.
Philip Quigley ’12, political science major/sociology minor, and Ashley Lovell ’14, double major peace studies/sociology, will be travel to the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., in late March for the conference. Together they will present “Engineering the Future: Nation Building Opportunities Presented by the Arab Spring,” as part of a panel discussion that will debate how the global community can help foster sustainable peace-building processes during the on-going Arab Spring movement.
