Chapman University’s faculty and staff are showing their Panther pride in a big way—by giving back to the university, they help make it extraordinary. Their gifts during the annual I’M IN! Giving Campaign are more than donations, they’re powerful investments in the future of our students and the programs that shape their success.

“I’m proud to give to I’M IN! because Chapman University has given so much to the community,” said Sarem Yadegari. “By coming together, we create opportunities for students, strengthen the programs we care about, and keep the Chapman Experience thriving for the next generation.”

Throughout November, faculty and staff direct their gifts to the areas that resonate most with them, such as student scholarships, research initiatives, the Chapman Fund, or program support for a specific school or college.

“I’m proud of the way Chapman supports students, so I choose to give annually,” explained Kayla Wiechert. “I have seen firsthand how these opportunities help students stay focused on their studies and enjoy their time at Chapman. Their perseverance inspires me to give!”

For many, supporting scholarships is a deeply personal endeavor.

“My son was a proud recipient of the Provost Scholarship, and that changed his journey,” shared Lilly Moscoso. “I give to help ensure more students have the same opportunity.”

Robin Pendergraft echoes that sentiment.

“Chapman has shaped not just my life, but also my child’s. Giving is my way of paying it forward so others can share the same opportunities and community that meant so much to us.”

For some, Chapman generosity runs in the family.

“As both a graduate student and a parent of an undergraduate, I’m inspired by the dedicated faculty and vibrant student community at Chapman,” said Sara Elsenpeter.

Chapman employees who are also alumni know firsthand the impact of giving.

“I give back because I know how it feels not to be able to procure textbooks required for classes or studies,” said Adey Oyenuga ’88 (MBA ’91). “When I was in college, I had to borrow textbooks from the library and classmates just to complete my assignments. I also give because of the assistance I received from Chapman when I was a student.”

Supporting the I’M IN! giving campaign means investing in the university’s future—for students, faculty, and the programs that make Chapman thrive.
