Please join us in welcoming four exceptional Chapman alumni to the 2025 Alumni Board of Directors: Liz Ficken ’11 (MBA ’22), Hunter Johnson ’10, Anna Belmer Jackson ’17, and Cody Punzel ’20. These dynamic leaders bring experience, passion, and Panther pride to their new roles.

Her career has encompassed education, global service, and financial services. Currently, she is the Board Chair for Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest and co-hosts the Uniquely Qualified podcast.
Hunter Johnson ’10

He has since become an Emmy and Tony Award-winning producer and the Founder and CEO of Xpedition, a leading global marketing agency. Johnson has spearheaded campaigns for major brands such as Airbnb, Amazon, and Google, while also producing popular television shows like “Shark Tank” and “MasterChef.” As a passionate advocate for inclusive leadership, he promotes diversity within Xpedition and actively participates in organizations such as the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
“I serve on the board because Chapman’s given me so much through the years, and without it, I don’t think I would be in this position in life and succeeding in this way, so I’m trying to give back.”
Anna Belmer Jackson ’17
Belmer Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Argyros College of Business and Economics. While at Chapman, she was a four-year Presidential Scholar and actively participated in orientation programs and performing arts groups, including Chapman on Broadway and the University Choir. Currently, she serves as the Director of Development at the Orange County School of the Arts Foundation, where she focuses on cultivating strong donor relationships and raising funds to support arts education.
“I owe Chapman for bringing me some of the best people I know in my life, including my wonderful husband, who is also from the class of 2017 and my very best friend. So I’m excited to get involved with the community.”
Cody Punzel ’20
Punzel earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing on Finance. During his time as a student, he held leadership positions in both Phi Delta Theta and Alpha Kappa Psi. Additionally, he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Janes Financial Center Residency Program. Currently, he is an Associate at Houlihan Lokey, specializing in financial and valuation advisory services within the Media, Sports, and Entertainment sectors.
“Being from Hawaii, Chapman became a home away from home. I’m looking forward to giving back and paying it forward.”
The Office of Alumni Engagement extends its congratulations to Ficken, Johnson, Belmer Jackson, and Punzel, expressing pride in their representation of Chapman and their efforts to shape the future of the alumni community.
