Chapman’s Institutional DataMart, a repository of institutional data gathered, is now on Power BI with a new elevated look and feel. The DataMart was established over a decade ago by the Institutional Research and Decision Support (IRADS) Office and is updated on an annual basis with census data. It is the go-to resource for on-campus users in need of uniform institutional data for planning and decision-making or official external reporting and for members of the public who wish to know more about student success and institutional achievement at Chapman University.
Some new features in the Institutional DataMart include an improved navigational flow, a new student enrollment report on first-generation college students, and a data dictionary housed in Data Cookbook, a tool designed to archive definitions of the most commonly used terms in student and faculty reports.
You are invited to visit the IRADS house (415 E. Walnut) tomorrow, March 20, between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the DataMart Drop-In Office Hours. This is an excellent opportunity to closely examine the new Institutional DataMart and inquire about any improvements and upcoming Power BI dashboards or reports.
