Chapman University held its annual President’s Circle breakfast, an opportunity to thank generous donors for their contributions to the Chapman Fund.

Chapman University held its annual President’s Circle breakfast on Friday, Feb. 28, at the Fish Interfaith Center. This event marked the beginning of the Parent Spring Summit and served as an opportunity to thank generous donors for their contributions to the Chapman Fund.

This unrestricted fund empowers student scholarships, enhances programs, addresses emerging priorities, provides invaluable resources for faculty and more. President’s Circle members are alumni, parents, community members, faculty and staff. Some members made their first gift this year, while others have been giving for over 25 years.

President’s Circle members had an opportunity to mingle with one another as well as student scholars who shared more about their Chapman Experience. Guests had the opportunity to connect with President Danielle C. Struppa before his final State of the University address, along with university leadership, staff and faculty across campus.

Associate Vice President of Engagement and Volunteerism Nidhi Vogt opened the program with welcoming remarks, expressing gratitude to donors for their significant impact on students and faculty across both Chapman campuses.

Following her remarks, Student Government Association President and graduating senior Eric Hall shared his Chapman Experience.

“As I prepare for my next chapter—I carry with me the values and vision that Chapman has instilled. Chapman University has given me so much more than just an education—it’s given me a vision of the kind of impact I want to make in the world.”

Following his remarks, Hall welcomed President Struppa to the stage, where he shared how President’s Circle members impact the university in many ways.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support—not just for the financial support, which is very important, but your emotional support, your friendship,” Struppa stated. “You have always been with me and the institution to support us, provide guidance, and reinforce faith, trust and confidence in what we do. That, to me, is the most important thing.”
