Chapman Radio Wins Four National Awards at IBS Conference in New York City

Chapman Radio recently attended the 2025 Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) Conference and Awards Ceremony in Times Square, New York City. The IBS, an 86-year-old national organization, recognizes excellence in college radio, with stations from across the country submitting audio content for award consideration.

In addition to gaining valuable insights into broadcasting and audio production, Chapman Radio earned 10 national award nominations and took home four national college radio awards:

  • Best Specialty Show (Non-Music): RealiTea Check – Megan Lasala, Cecilia Ward, Maya Milne, Brooke Duncan
  • Best Show Promotional Poster: State of Mind – Press Start! – Chloe Wong, Lisa Wong
  • Best Social Media Campaign: Is It OK? – Is Hookup Culture OK? – Maika Suaya, Smith Romney
  • Best Streaming-Only Station (Under 10,000 Students): Chapman Radio

Chapman Radio is especially proud to be named the best streaming-only college radio station in the country. After four consecutive years of nominations, the station has finally secured the top honor.
