Institutional Compliance’s annual Compliance Week happens from Nov. 4 through Nov. 8. Compliance Week comprises of activities that support coordination, management and monitoring of the risks associated with federal, state and local laws and regulations. As the Office of Institutional Compliance, we comprise the collective university activities that help to ensure all significant compliance risks are addressed and effectively managed.
The core principles of the week are awareness, recognition and reinforcement.
This year’s theme is “Old School Vigilance: Compliance Never Goes Out of Style.” No matter how many tools we have, they’re only as good as our vigilance. Join us as we dive into a variety of crucial topics, from occupational fraud to the clever ways accomplices bypass preventative measures.
In order to celebrate this week, Institutional Compliance has created daily activities to test your knowledge and help you to realize the role you play in compliance at Chapman. Participants will be sent a small prize as a thank you for participating.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions! You can email us at compliance@chapman.edu. More information can also be found on our website.
