The university is offering COVID vaccine clinics in the fall for our faculty, staff and students. Vaccinations remain the most powerful way to reduce the risk of contracting and spreading COVID. We encourage our community members to stay up to date with their vaccines.
- Tuesday, October 1, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Orange Campus, 145 Sycamore Avenue (building behind Student Health Center)
- Tuesday, October 1, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Rinker Campus, 9401 Jeronimo Road, Campus Center at Rinker
- Wednesday, October 9, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Orange Campus, 145 Sycamore Avenue (building behind Student Health Center)
- Wednesday, October 9, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: 9401 Rinker Campus, Jeronimo Road, Campus Center at Rinker 
The clinics will also have flu shots available as well. (Students should note that the Student Health Center will begin offering free flu shots beginning September 30. Call 714-997-6851 to schedule an appointment.)
No payment will be required at the booster clinic; however, Albertsons will bill the cost of the booster or flu shot to your insurance, so we encourage you to check with your insurance provider to verify coverage. Here is an overview of the out-of-pocket costs:
For employees on one of the Chapman health insurance plans: Cigna insurance plans will cover the cost of the booster and flu shot. Please be sure to bring your Cigna member information with you to your appointment. Kaiser insurance plans only cover the booster at Kaiser providers.
Important reminders for all participants
- Bring a completed vaccine consent form. (There will also be some on hand to complete at the sites.)
- Bring medical/pharmacy insurance card.
- Wear short sleeves, if possible.
