Disney, Whole Foods Leaders Headline Argyros Dean’s Leadership Series

Chapman University’s Argyros College of Business and Economics will host its second annual Dean’s Leadership Lecture Series this fall, beginning with an executive from the Walt Disney Company.

The series, which launched in September 2023 with NBA great and sports executive Magic Johnson, invites business leaders to share their career trajectories.

The speakers are:

• Sept. 24: Sonia L. Coleman ’04, chief human resources officer at the Walt Disney Company.
• Sept. 25: John Mackey, founder and former CEO of Whole Foods Market.
• Oct. 4: Alexander Jekowsky ’17, who launched his first startup at Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics and who has raised over $100 million for Cents, his venture into the laundromat industry.
• Oct. 16: Denise Roberson ’98, chief purpose officer at Omnicom.

“We’re excited to welcome these distinguished business leaders, most of whom are alumni, to share their insights,” says Argyros Dean Henrik Cronqvist.
