As Chapman University students face the challenges of finals week, various resources are available to help navigate the stress of exams. There will be a range of events available and essential campus facilities are extending their hours to support students during this crucial time.
Leatherby Libraries Support for Finals Week
There are a number of resources the Leatherby Libraries will provide to accommodate late-night studying during finals week:
- Rotunda After-Hours Study Commons: The Rotunda After-Hours Study Commons area on the first floor will be open 24/7 from now through Friday, May 17. The After-Hours study commons is available after normal library hours Sunday through Thursday nights. Chapman students entering the study commons area must show their Chapman ID.
- Coffee at the Library for Finals Week: The Leatherby Libraries, in collaboration with the Chapman University Student Government Association (SGA), are thrilled to announce the return of coffee and snacks at the library for finals week. From now through Friday, May 19, students will be able to pick up a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate provided by the SGA in the first floor lobby of the library. The library will also provide snacks on the first, second and third floors to give students an energy boost while studying. Vegan and gluten-free snack options will be available.
- Tabling for Graduation: The Leatherby Libraries will be tabling in the first floor lobby during Finals Week to celebrate graduating seniors. Students will be able to stop by to pick up some swag and snacks.
Argyros Forum Student Union Hours
Operating hours for finals week in the Student Union from now through Thursday, May 16 are 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. The Student Union will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 17.
Midnight Breakfast by University Program Board
On Monday, May 13 from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m., students are invited to indulge in classic breakfast favorites and enjoy refreshing drinks in the Argyros Forum Student Union. For more information, please contact upb@chapman.edu.
Tibetan Buddhist Monks in Residence at the Fish Interfaith Center

In the days leading up to Baccalaureate, the monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery will be in residence at the Fish Interfaith Center creating a beautiful sand mandala. Visit Fish Interfaith Center daily from now through May 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to watch the monks create the intricate mandala.

Henley Fitness Center and Julianne Argyros Fitness Center Hours of Operation:
The Henley Fitness Center and Julianne Argyros Fitness Center are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning today through Friday, May 17. The fitness centers will be closed from Saturday, May 18 through Sunday, May 19.
