Institutional Compliance’s annual Compliance Week happens from Nov. 6 through Nov. 10. Compliance Week comprises of activities that support coordination, management and monitoring of the risks associated with federal, state and local laws and regulations. As the Office of Institutional Compliance, we comprise the collective university activities that help to ensure all significant compliance risks are addressed and effectively managed.
The core principles of the week are awareness, recognition, and reinforcement.
This year’s theme is “Every Detail Matters.” We are discussing phishing, fraud and record retention this year. In each of these categories, small details have enormous implications. We’ll provide helpful information and exciting stories.
In order to celebrate this week, Institutional Compliance has created daily activities to test your knowledge and help you to realize the role you play in compliance at Chapman. Of all participants, there will be 100 randomly-selected winners. Submit your answers by Nov. 10 for a chance to win a prize.
