You are invited attend the Campus Center at Rinker Student Celebration on Wednesday, June 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
As you know, the Campus Center at Rinker provides much-needed meeting, study and community space for our Rinker campus. Additionally, the new space will further enable Chapman to partner on events with community organizations.
Drop in anytime from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on June 28 for facility tours, games, giveaways, free food and refreshments.
A brief presentation will be made between 12:15 and 12:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs, Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences and the School of Pharmacy.
The new Campus Center boasts several amenities, including:
- The Paws Café, operated by Sodexo
- The Panther Store, operated by Follett
- The Wellness Room, a space dedicated to hosting events and workshops that help us achieve our annual Fitwel certification goals
- Prayer room and reflection room
- An Amazon locker
- Open meeting and seating spaces
- A dedicated Student Organizations Workroom — with space for group meetings and locker storage for recognized student organizations
- A state-of-the-art Commons Video Wall, which will highlight Rinker events, achievements, and broadcast news, sports and special event programs
- Panther Pantry food pantry
Investment in graduate health science programs is a key pillar of Chapman’s Strategic Plan, including achieving a state-of-the-art campus in the next five years. The new Campus Center at Rinker is a monumental step on that path, and I hope you will join us to celebrate.
Additionally, please mark your calendars for October 25 when we will host a community-wide grand opening for the new Campus Center at Rinker.
