On Monday, June 26 and Tuesday, June 27, IS&T will upgrade the Transact System Enterprise (TSE).
During the upgrade process of TSE (formerly known as Blackboard Transact), some services may be down; please review the following items to learn how related services may be impacted:
- ID card printings and (https://instantid.chapman.edu/trucredential/login.html).
- Online photos upload (https://web.chapman.edu/photo).
- eAccounts (https://eacct-chapman-sp.transactcampus.com/eAccounts/AnonymousHome.aspx).
- Public Safety (Dispatch Office) could not control the unlocking/locking of any buildings at any time.
- Pharo, Follett Book Store, GrubHubs, and “Cash Stations” cannot check/or deposit and verify any balances.
- Transact’s Reporting System will not be available.
- Campus Solutions (PeopleSoft) will not export data to Transact System Enterprise.
- NCR Point-of-Sales and Halo’s Point-of-Sales will continue to work offline but cannot check or verify “Stored Value” balances (Declining Balance, Dining Dollars, WEPA Printing, others).
- Transact’s door access will continue to work offline, but newly assigned Transact security patterns will not be provided to students, staff, and others.
IS&T is planning a two-day TSE shutdown; however, the delay could be extended if we experience additional issues, in which case, we will issue another update.
Thank you,
Chapman University IS&T (Information Systems and Technology)
