This workshop will discuss the definition of system impacted, which can refer to people who have been legally, economically or familially affected by the criminal justice system, and how students can know and understand if they are system impacted. It will go over the effect of being system impacted, including the school to prison pipeline, trauma and resiliency. The workshop will also discuss existing groups who offer support for the system impacted. The workshop will take place on Monday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. at the Cross Cultural Center.
