New Look for Pay Stubs and W-2 Forms in 2023

Beginning with the first paycheck in January, the university will make changes to the My Money section of the Employee Self-Service Portal, and you will notice a new look to pay stubs and W-2 forms. These improvements enable us to offer:

  • A simpler, more readable format for paystubs and W-2s
  • Additional security features for those who receive live checks to help protect you from check fraud
  • A dedicated check-verification line to assist employees who use check cashing services
  • The ability to import your W-2 information directly into tax preparing software such as TurboTax, H&R Block, etc. No more hand keying.

If you are enrolled in the direct deposit program, you might notice your bank noted a Chapman University Payroll test transaction between December 15 and 29.

The Payroll team will follow up before the first affected paycheck in January with additional details and updated instructions for accessing your paystub and W-2 in Employee Self Service.

If you have any questions regarding these changes, or need assistance, please contact the Payroll team at payroll@chapman.edu.
