We are currently experiencing issues with our legacy voicemail server that provides voicemail for any user on our Avaya phone system. The issue appears to have started early this morning, around 7:30 AM on 10/17/22. A ticket has been opened with our vendor, and we should have an update shortly. Any user currently using Teams for their phone will be unaffected, as it is only related to users still using Avaya phones.
Update: The issue has been resolved. Users should now see voicemails coming in, including voicemails from previous messages left. The problem was related to Microsoft’s disabling of simple authentication.
