COVID-19 Task Force Update

Chapman University’s COVID-19 Task Force continues to closely monitor Orange County and The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regional data tracking for COVID-19 cases. The CDC data notes a recent trend in declining new cases of COVID-19 and hospitalizations but continues to list Orange County at the medium community risk level. We will alert you to any changes. COVID-19 case updates and county data are reported weekly on the Chapman Dashboard.

The CU Staying Healthy website offers guidelines on masking, vaccinations, testing and the Daily Health Screen to inform your personal efforts to help slow the spread of COVID-19. We ask that each of you take personal responsibility to keep our campus community healthy. Know your risk, protect yourself, and take action if exposed to COVID-19, and if you are sick or test positive.
