The Fish Interfaith Center is delighted to announce its collaboration with Crean College and the Brain Institute to conduct a pilot-study investigating the health benefits of mindfulness meditation.
This is a very unique opportunity for Chapman University, but we kindly request your support!
We are currently looking for 15-20 volunteers, who live in the Southern California area and have successfully completed the 6-week Fish Mindfulness program (and even those who started but were unable to finish), to participate in a “one-time” measurement in the Brain Institute’s float-pod.Check out the demo video. These sessions will take place at the Rinker campus starting Mar. 22.
We are specifically seeking those committed meditation practitioners, who will be willing to take a “Three-week Refresher” online course composed of 15 guided meditations. In order to ensure we receive optimal measurements for our specific study, we are only seeking those who have participated in the Fish Mindfulness program; we are unable to recruit those with other forms of meditation practices.
Rest assured, the strictest COVID-19 health protocols are in place at the Brain Institute for this study. Please contact Murali, Manjari if you have questions or wish to volunteer for this pioneering Chapman study.
