Staff and Administrator Performance Appraisal and Feedback

On June 09, 2020, President Struppa announced a new timeframe for the annual merit review process, shifting the effective date from January 2021 to June 2021. The Staff and Administrator Performance Appraisal and Feedback process will align to this new timeframe.

The appraisal and feedback process will open in February 2021.  Feedback is an integral component of effective performance management and ongoing employee engagement.  It is particularly important as managers assess performance and contemplate potential salary increases as part of the annual merit review process.

While the completion of performance appraisals are optional, feedback is required for all Staff and Administrators.  We recognize that some people prefer the appraisal forms that we have used traditionally; those will remain available.  For those who prefer a more streamlined feedback tool, the Office of Human Resources is finalizing a new Feedback Form that will be available in February.  You may choose between a traditional appraisal form or a new feedback form when the process opens in February.
