Michelle AngukaThe Chapman Community may be separated physically for the time being, but the University is still selecting and celebrating recipients of the Campus Leadership Awards. Our students deserve the recognition for their extraordinary work!
This year, the Campus Leadership Awards will be presented through a series of videos posted on Instagram (@LifeatCU) on Friday, May 15 at 4 p.m. The full video will be uploaded to the Campus Leadership Awards website at a later date.
In addition to recognizing the outstanding first year students, sophomores, juniors and seniors, the recipients of the following major Chapman senior awards will also be announced:
- Cecil F. Cheverton Award – Presented annually to the outstanding graduating senior and is the highest undergraduate student honor at Chapman
- Gloria and Julian Peterson Award – Presented for distinguished leadership in enriching university life, and is Chapman’s highest senior leadership award
- Ronald M. Huntington Award – Presented to the graduating senior with the most distinguished record of scholarly accomplishments
- Outstanding Diversity Leadership Award – Presented to the graduating senior who has shown exemplary promotion of social justice, multicultural, and diversity initiatives
- Paul S. Delp Award – Presented to the graduating senior who has made the greatest contribution to voluntary service to the Chapman community or the community at large
Finally, this year’s five Cheverton finalists will continue to be highlighted through a virtual exhibit @LifeatCU from Tuesday May 11 through Friday, May 15. For more information, visit the Student Union website.
With all these awards, the goal is to highlight all the incredible achievements of Chapman students and create a long-standing tradition of celebrating success. This year the celebration may be virtual, but our enthusiasm in honoring our students and their extraordinary achievements remains just as great! Please make time to join us.
