Register for Two-Factor Authentication Security Feature

Near the end of the 2019 calendar year, our Information Security team started implementing a new service for all students, faculty, and staff called Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Two-Factor Authentication offers an extra layer of security for users that requires completing an extra step of ID verification when logging into their Chapman University accounts. This extra verification step prevents unauthorized users from accessing sensitive University data and documents in the event a user’s login credentials are compromised. Although 2FA registration is not mandatory at this time, it is highly recommended that all users on campus register as soon as possible. The registration process is very easy and only takes a few minutes to complete.
