10/25-26 Chapman Athletics Night of Champions and Hall of Fame Inductions

Chapman University will host its 38th Night of Champions & Hall of Fame Inductions in a celebration of Panthers’ Athletics heritage, past, present and future. The banquet, which begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Sandhu Conference Center, will honor the five newest members of the Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame and feature a special keynote address from Chapman Hall of Famer Kathy Copelin ’82. Kathy was Chapman’s first softball All-American and is now a certified coach, trainer, and public speaker.

Chapman’s 2019 induction class:

Cindy LeClair ’96, women’s soccer
Efriam Miranda ’96, football
Elizabeth Lewis ’11, women’s tennis
Kurt Yacko ’11, baseball

Chapman’s newest Hall of Fame inductees, as well as all current Hall of Fame members in attendance, will be recognized on the field during halftime of the Panthers’ football game on Saturday. An unveiling of their names on Chapman’s Hall of Fame wall is scheduled to take place immediately following the halftime ceremony. The Hall of Fame is located on Gray Victory Way as part of the Lastinger Athletics Complex.
