Dodge College No. 7 on ‘Hollywood Reporter’ list of top film schools

Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts has been named one of the top film schools in the United States by The Hollywood Reporter. Dodge College was No. 7 in the magazine’s ranking of the country’s 25 best film schools.

“How does one get to Hollywood? Start in Orange County: The 1,500 students at Chapman’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts nabbed 607 high-powered internships during the 2013-14 school year,” reporter Tim Appelo wrote in the magazine.

The rankings were based on results drawn from more than 2,300 ballots submitted from throughout the film industry. The Hollywood Reporter says it was the widest-ever survey since it began the listing four years ago.
