Home for the holidays! The heart-warming tale of Little Chapman

Susan Winton and her son, Adam, 17, treated President Doti to a reunion with Little Chapman, who was abandoned on campus this fall.

Here’s a tale that arrives just in time to grow even the tiniest Grinch heart. You may recall
the story of the little dog
abandoned on campus and then found by students Emma Cronshaw and Tanya Kanchana and fostered by President Jim Doti. We’re happy to report that the Chihuahua mix dubbed Little Chapman has a happy home – and with an alumna employee, no less.

Little Chapman was adopted by Susan Winton ’86 (M.S. ’93), who is the employment services manager in the Human Resources Department. Winton says he’s a well-behaved little Panther – uh, pooch.

“He’s easy going. Nothing fazes him,” Winton says. Best of all – “He hardly even barks and he loves to cuddle.”

Yup, those Grinch hearts definitely grew three sizes today.
