Working their magic with dry ice, candy corn, craft clay, gourds, fake ooze, fuzzy spiders and – of course – pumpkins, the staff of Chapman University had a frightfully good time this morning at the Fourth Annual Panther Pumpkin Pageant, hosted in Attallah Piazza by Human Resources.
Departments taking the top prizes include: Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in the category of Best Chapman Theme for its Ghostbusters pumpkin featuring the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man attacking Memorial Hall; Strategic Marketing and Communications in the category of Most Original for its robot pumpkin blasting off from Citizens Global Plaza; and Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences in the category of Most Humorous for its Despicable Me themed collection of gourds and pumpkins.
