Campus community invited to participate in WASC accreditation review

As part of its scheduled accreditation process, Chapman University is hosting a site visit by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (
WASC
). The onsite visit by WASC’s Senior College and University Commission is scheduled for Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 21-23.

The visiting team has scheduled open meetings with students, staff and faculty to provide an opportunity for informal input from all members of the campus community about their experience with the institution. Students are encouraged to comment on issues of academic rigor and consistency, availability of student support services, and other matters related to the quality of the educational experience.

Meeting times set for Tuesday, Oct. 22, include:

• Students from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. in Argyros Forum, Room 209B
• Administrators and staff from 4:30 to 5:15 in Argyros Forum, Room 208
• Faculty from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. in the Marvin W. Meyer Faculty Athenaeum, Argyros Forum 310
