American Library Association honors Leatherby’s annual report with top honor

, an annual report highlighting the research, events and news at Chapman University’s library, was named Best of Show in the
American Library Association’s
PR Xchange competition.

The award recognizes the very best public relations materials produced by libraries each year. Entries are evaluated based on content, originality and design by a team of experts in public relations, graphic design, communications and marketing who select the winners in a range of categories.

Contributing to the project from Strategic Marketing and Communications were senior graphic designer Ryan Tolentino, account manager Drew Farrington and photographer Max Kosydar ’14; and from Leatherby Libraries were Dean Charlene Baldwin, Assistant Dean Essraa Nawar, acquisitions assistant Cindy Mitchell, reference librarian David Goto and freelance photographer Jeanine Hill.
