Television producer to share the real deal behind reality TV at Dodge College talk

Ever wonder how much of reality television is scripted or staged? Here’s an opportunity to find out. The Business of Television class taught by faculty member Bob Shayne at the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts is inviting the campus community to join them when television producer Angela Molloy visits to speak on “What’s Real and What Isn’t Real in Reality TV?” Molloy’s talk will be Thursday, April 18, at 7 p.m. in Folino Theater.

Molloy, currently producing the sixth season of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles for the Bravo Network, has been a production, development and acquisitions executive for Discovery Channel and TLC. Her reality TV credits also include Miss America Live, Mario Lopez Wedding Special, Scott Baio is 45… (VH-1), Life with La Toya (OWN), The Pick-Up Artist (VH-1), and many more.
