Memorial, tribute to honor the late professor Marv Meyer set for Sept. 23

A memorial and tribute for the late Marv Meyer, Ph.D., who held the Griset Chair in Bible and Christian Studies and was director of the Albert Schweitzer Center, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, in the Wallace All Faiths Chapel, Fish Interfaith Center. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Faculty Athenaeum.

Meyer passed away on Thursday, August 16, at the age of 64, of complications from melanoma. A full obituary was published in the new issue of Chapman Magazine, which may be read online. The article appears on page 30.
