Dr. Barbara Mulch remembered for inspiring generations of Chapman students.

Memorial set for Dr. Barbara Mulch Thursday; livestreaming to be provided

The entire Chapman community is invited to participate in a memorial service for Dr. Barbara Mulch on Thursday, May 10, at 6 p.m. in the Wallace All Faiths Chapel of the Fish Interfaith Center. Please join the campus community of students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends as they come together in this time of loss to honor Dr. Mulch’s life, warmth, and unique contribution to Chapman. Live streaming of the memorial will be available at that time at this link.

To further honor Dr. Mulch’s role in the history of Chapman, the university has established an endowed scholarship, the “Dr. Barbara Gooden Mulch Memorial Scholarship for Study Abroad.” Gifts may be sent to: Joanne Jurczyk, University Advancement, Chapman University One University Drive, Orange, Calif. 92866.

Dr. Mulch, dean emerita, director of fellowships and scholars programs, and a longtime champion of Chapman University and generations of students, passed away Sunday, April 29, from a massive stroke. She was 77.
