Selective focus creates a charming close up of campus life, tilt-shift style

Just look at all these happy little people going zippity zoom, zoom, zoom as they walk, work, run, swim and smooch their way through a day at Chapman University and in nearby Old Towne Orange.

This magical world was created with the popular time-lapse style called tilt-shift video, which has the affect of making everything seem miniature. This videos was made by freshman filmmakers Michael Lee Cullen and Justine Stewart. Cullen also composed the music.

“Tilt-shift videos are beautiful. They have been an evolving trend in the visual world for the past year or so and, as of recently, have really began catching on. I love how tilt-shift videos display the beauty of everyday life,” Cullen says.

It goes fast, so keep your eyes peeled.
